long weekend

I got spoiled the last 2 weekends by not having a show Sunday night. Sadly, this week and next week it's back to the grind of 5 show weekends. That includes Friday night. We close next Sunday, and I get a bit of time off before the next one starts. Well, not so much time off but time doing something else. At least I'll get my evenings back!

It's spring break for UMKC this week. That's terrific news on the coffeehouse front, since all the damn dorm dwellers are gone! It was wonderful to go there on Friday night and nearly have the place to ourselves. It was about 11 at the time, and ever so quiet. We're planning to go several times this week, to take advantage of the good thing while it lasts.
