Yesterday we had a 2 show day, so we decided to stay in and have a crock pot cookoff. We have a 2 show day today as well, so the plan was to eat the leftovers today. That's not going to work so well, since there aren't that many leftovers. Freeloaders ate our stuff but didn't contribute.
Anyhoo, we had a nice smell backstage as our crockpots burbled through the show, then after the show we all dashed backstage and chowed down. There was potato soup, broccoli noodle stuff, Normandy chicken, my chili, salad in a crockpot, and a brownie dish. After all was consumed, they decided the chili was the winner, and I even got a ribbon. :) Sadly, there's no chili left.

Yay for winning!!! I bet you have way tasty chili!!!
Did they cook the salad in the crockpot, or did some clever fool just assemble it? Because if they just assembled it, they should've gotten a littl bit of credit for creativity.
Did you get a blue ribbon?
The chili was only okay, I thought it was tastier the first time I made it. Funny thing is now I want to make it again, since I only got to eat a tiny bit of it. :P
Crockpot salad was just a regular salad in a crockpot, and she did get an award for creativity. :)
It was a blue ribbon! I put it up in the light booth.
