Whew.

It's been busy busy.

Friday Donald stayed home. We went and picked up his tux, did some errands, and waited until rehearsal dinner time. Dinner was very nice at Garozzo's, even though we were surrounded by people we don't know, grandparents and parents and such.

Saturday we started out by getting up as the crack of 6:45. We were on our way to Harrisonville by 8, and by 9:30 Robyn and I were waiting to get out hair and makeup done. That took until about noon, somehow, and a lot of hairspray. Wow, the hairspray. We went back to the apartnment, got a bite to eat, and got to Powell Gardens about 2. Then we got dressed and took pictures. At 4 we went over to the chapel to get set up there. The ceremony was at 5, very nice, and by 6 Jo and Robyn were all married up and were receptioning. A long and tiring day, but good overall. Everyone had a good time I think, and looked nice, and we got to meet some new people. I was asleep at 11.

Sunday it was universally decided that breakfast was required. Joe and Robyn joined me and Donald and we went to Chubby's on Broadway. It was cheap, and they have breakfast 24 hours. I'll be going bac, you can bet on that. Later we all drove to Independence to return the tuxes. We shopped and window shopped, and hung around in Barnes and Noble until 5:20. Then we saw Serenity again. :)

Amd that's that! Monday I had to go back to the normal stuff. Now that the wedding's over, I have to jump into doing a million other things. Bah.
