Yesterday before dinner we went on a walk around a residential area. Vicky wanted to take pictures of some neat fences for references. I also took pictures of neat houses and yards. It's amazing that a house here can be green with rust colored trim and look very nice. In Kansas City, it would look like crap. I think the bright colors for houses here must work because the natural scenery doesn't have a lot of color. There used to be a house by Ward Parkway mall that was painted four different colors. Each row of siding was one color. That was pretty odd, looking back. Of course, as a kid I thought it was great but dad wouldn'd paint our house that way.
